Snappy - a Multimedia review Website

Snappy is the name of a  proof of concept website which the dolmen project has choosen to work towards next. The main purpose of making Snappy is to create a site that will show weaknesses and strength

• of the teamwork we do (e.g. what development model suits us best (we will give  Scrum a try), the possible lack of communicating our individual schedule amongst each other, avoiding weak links like for example assigning a hardcore sysadmin task to a coder which whould otherwise spend his time way better coding, etc.)
• the basic conceptual architecture approach we are taking
• the user experience e.g. at first the one we will have ourselves as being users, then the one from "user only" folks
• the overall technical approach e.g. how we do testing, namespace, etc.

Planned features for Snappy

• video/audio
  • users can upload videos or audio files
  • files are stored in blobs and can be annotated with metadatas
  • watch videos which other users or the user itself uploaded i.e. streaming videos
  • download videos
• images
  • upload images
  • have a photo album with/without slideshow
  • download images
• review (with comments) video and image content which individual users can upload to a Snappy site
